Now I must wait until June for more True Blood. I won't say anything that might be a spoiler but I don't think I like the direction they're going with Eric.

Seriously in Club Dead Bill is kidnapped by his insane maker, which I think they could possibly be working into season 3. But the way the episode went, it's just not looking good for Eric/Sookie and that bothers me. I know shows are different from books but something as important as Eric/Sookie being completely changed infuriates me. That's my favorite thing from the books. Especially after book 9. Here I'm excited for book 10 becailuse Harris says she's going back to what's really important: Sookie, Bill, Sam and Eric. Those are the important characters. The relationships they have with each other are different but I love them all. I just don't see why they would play the whole Eric being completely douchey when in the books he's an ass who stands up for himself. An ass who despite being confused about Sookie, he tries his best to be upfront as he can be. In Club Dead he's the one who comforts Sookie and tells her Bill is gone and Bill told him to take care of Sookie in case he's ever in a situation where he might die. Yes, he tries to take advantage but he's Eric. He's also honest when he sends her with the Werewolf (which I don't think Sookie will have feelings for with how madly in love she is witb Bill) and helps her find Bill. Sooooo. Will Bill's rape be the reason why Sookie turns to Eric? Will they show that Eric would never do that to Sookie and despite his asshole vibe that he cares for the bullet sucker? Or are they going to keep Sookie and Bill this happy couple? Cause if that's the case, I'm beginning to take a few steps back from the show.

Maybe I'll continue later. I have to shower and rush to campus! But I'm taking my MacBook today :) my third class is beyond boring. So I'll just type away pretending to give my full attention.

I decided to look cute today for school and now I'm seriously freezing. Lab was lame. All we did was sit there talking about stupid things like what we find in water regardless of how things may be purified. Not because the professor decided to talk about that, but because people kept avoiding the actual lab activity and kept asking questions. I couldn't help myself when I found myself on my iTouch skipping through tumblr and twitter.

After lab I went to see about buying my books with the book voucher I got. But as I went to the register and had everything ready I wasn't approved. I have to wait and try again around Tuesday. to make matters worse, I had realized my slip I was wearing over my tank was inside out from when I put it on in a rush in the bathroom after lab.

So I took the 12 bus to Pelham. I sat in Dunkin' Donuts reading. I feel like lately I really just want to be alone. It makes me feel better. I'm waiting now to take the 5 bus home. Vampire Diaries tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to The US Open with Resa and Saturday I'll probably see Liz after class at the San Gennaro Festival. Anyone else going? I'd love to meet up with you :)

Got up early and did my lab work before I got ready to head to campus.
Saw my sister before lecture :) always nice since I miss her
Was abandoned by my lab partner (she got scared off by some of the girls sitting in my group) but I'll survive, lol. I like working alone.
Deposited my sister's money to pay her bill
Sat in the plaza, had sushi and a snapple while I read and waited for my parents to finish watching District 9

Class/lab went pretty cool. My professor is very hyper and funny :)

002 (September 2nd 2009)

My first presentation in my public speaking class failed big time. For someone with a lot to say, I really suck at getting in front of people now.
Deposited some money in the bank.
After class I decided to look for my Sony eBook Reader by myself, so I spent about 6 hours throughout The Bronx and Manhattan searching with no luck. But it was great to be by myself :)
Got home late but I had nummy food; white rice, beans, and pieces of avacodo.

003 (September 3rd 2009)

Got up early and enjoyed coffee and breakfast while I checked the interwebs.
Went to the Sony store to pick up my Sony eBook reader!
Very hyped with my eBook reader I rushed back into The Bronx for lab. Got there in time :)
Got home and addd some books while I kept reading City of Ashes

I have bio today. I start at noon so I'm sitting in bed in my pj's having some mini eggos and coffee before I start to get ready to head to campus. My parents just left to the hospital. It seems they're always there :/ don't worry, it's just to check up on my dad's condition. He was in a lot of pain yesterday but refused to go to the hospital so he's just going today.

I feel strange with the decisions I've made about school and my life. But I knew I couldn't go on with my old college because of the personal things I went through. Rape is not easy. I couldn't really talk about it. I couldn't see my college friends without thinking about it. I honestly still can't. I've cut off people that are mad that I've cut them off. And I understand. But it's better this way. For my sanity. And no, I don't need to sit with each and every person who's mad and say "listen. Yeah, we had good times. But I can't hang out with you or think about you without thinking of all the fucked up things that happened to me while we were friends." I'm happy, they have their own lives. It's good this way.

Making new friends, now that's the hard part. The only friends I've made in my new college have all been 5 or more years younger than me. I just feel old. And it shouldn't matter, but it does when I think of potential love interests XD my mom likes to say "hey, you're just talking... maybe even dating. You're not going to marry them. Fuck it." But I dunno. It's a little strange. Or not. My best friends are in their 20s and 30s and I love them to bits and age doesn't matter to our friendships, but that's different. They know what I've gone through and how hard things are for me right now. Maybe I'm overanalyzing once again.

I've made a decision that will make my fellow book lovers cringe a little. Especially my lovely fairie-librarian-Marie.

I'm going to get myself this baby right here.

With all my school books and everything I haul around with me every day basically, my big books are beginning to become a hassle. Especially when I decide to leave them home because they don't fit or it's raining and I'm scared of the books getting damaged. I know I said I would never turn my back on books (which I'm not! I have so many books in my house, you won't even believe. But I've become extra addicted to reading nonstop and I think this will be my new loving pink electro wham bam boyfriend. Maybe I'll name is Magnus Bane. Yes, I have become addicted to the Mortal Instruments ~~Trilogy~~ series. Last week Cassandra announced she's writing and releasing a 4th book, woot! I'm only half way through City of Ashes but I'm totally digging them so far. I was going to go buy City of Glass but I'm going to wait until I get my Magnus Bane and City of Glass will be its first victim, lol.

I'm in a relatively good mood. Classes yesterday were ok. I had math, public speaking and this 1 credit reading class I decided to take just because I needed 1 credit to be full time. Math was... well, it was math, lol. Public speaking has me a little spooked because I get uber nervous and I'm the silent type really so when she said she's going to be actually recording our speeches I almost threw up my lunch right there. But this might be good for me. We'll see. The reading class... it was boring. And I almost hacked up lunch again when this ignorant little fuck kept making comments about how reading is boring and how can people enjoy a book when you can watch tv or go to the movies. But that's not what made me hack, it's when he said "Um. I was born in 1992. I'm not old." WHAT?! I have plenty of young friends, younger than that even, and they're not ignorant fucks! *shakes fist* I don't discriminate against the young bebehs because I was young once and I had plenty of friends who were older and we had plenty things in common and I never came across (I hope) as an ignorant fuck. Such a sad world.

Yesterday when I got home I felt weird. I think it just really hit me that my sister isn't coming back home. I got home from school and I sat down in the living room with my parents and I just felt like I was waiting for something. I was waiting for my sister to get home with Victor and complain about the lack of food and order Chinese for them. I miss her. Shit, I even miss Victor. I haven't seen him in almost a month. He's always working and when he's off they like to spend the time together/alone.

Well. Breakfast has been consumed. I have to leave the house in an hour. I should go take a shower now.

Ugh.

Today I have a dentist appointment. I'm actually a bit scared. Because of insurance issues and then other worries (like other people's health coming before my own) I haven't seen a dentist in... seven years. Ugh. That sounds horrible. Thankfully, I've been taking care of my teeth as best as I can on my own, but I'm terrified since my mom's health insurance with my dad doesn't provide dental work and she needs 4 root canals and she still hasn't been able to take care of that. I'm scared what I might need x_o

This weekend was pretty cool. Just hung out, I was pretty productive with household chores though! And I fixed up my desktop! (Click to make it bigger).

Last night's episode of True Blood was so good. How is is that the season just gets better and better? I've been capping some episodes and I'm hoping to do a recap for last night's episode and putting the photos here and on tumblr (if you're interested do look :D) I was supposed to go to campus today but my sister texted me last night saying she'd rather go tomorrow so I guess that's better since I had the appointment today for 3pm and we were going to be running around on campus until who knows when. So tomorrow I'll take care of that. I also have to stop being so lazy. I have letters to mail to my penpals and haven't done so yet. Bad, Yadie!

Yesterday my dad went to speak to his doctor about his kidney failure. The doctor (because of my dad's condition) doesn't want to even think of dialysis at this point so he's trying his very best to avoid it. I'm hoping it actually is avoidable. So right now he needs to cath himself 4 times a day and drink plenty of water. That and of course they're going to start running more tests on him to see if they can actually avoid dialysis.

Because my dad is who he is and likes to avoid reality he called me and said he wanted to see Orphan after his appointment since Tuesdays are free movie Tuesdays. So my parents and I saw Orphan last night. I actually liked it, lol. I wasn't 'shocked' about the ending, it's sorta obvious, but the fact that the reactions from the characters were a bit more based on real reactions (like slapping a hoe in the hospital). I know the ghetto crowd at Concourse enjoyed it with their "OHHHHH SHIIIIT!" "BEAT THAT BITCH! THAT'S RIGHT!" and my favorite "YO, THAT NIGGA'S GOTTA DIE FOR BEING SUCH A FUCKING PUSSY!"comments :)

Today I woke up early to head to campus and meet my sister. Our plan was to register for classes, go to financial aid and validate. When we got to campus to register they told us they were only taking care of transfer students this week and we would have to return on Monday for regular registration. Ugh. So we went to financial aid to at least get one thing out of the way. So Monday all we have to do is register and validate our bursars and our id's so I guess it's easier that way :) it was pretty fast.

We decided to go to Target and buy a few things. They had Vitamin water on sale so I picked up a few along with 0 calorie and 0 sugar drinks for like $2! I'm trying to be healthier :) so it's nice to get healthier things for so cheap. I got home exhausted and about to pass out because I made the mistake of not taking water with me and it was so hot! And I hadn't eaten so when I did get home I was so tired. I jumped in the shower and not even 30 minutes later I fell in for a nap.

Los Victorinos is going to be so epic tonight. Ugh. I love that novella! Ok.. I think Animal Crossing is calling me.

OOOOO! And my mom just called and is getting me Mr. Softee!!!! :D

Breaking Dawn & other things.

So I just finished watching True Blood. Great episode, btw! I won't ruin it for those who haven't seen it yet. But really... I keep saying this, but season 1 was awesome and I was worried about season 2 not living up to it, but it has been so amazing :) I'm also on book 7. I'm addicted to those books just like I'm addicted to the show :O

However... I feel like Summit is simply destroying the Twilight saga. Let's be honest, as much as I love Twilight they could have done a lot better with the first film. New Mon I have high hopes for... we'll see. With the decision they took to replace Rachelle for Eclipse it again pissed me off. To the point where I don't think I'll go see Eclipse.

But this part is what got me seriously pissed.

Summit Entertainment has acquired the rights from Stephenie Meyer to film and distribute Breaking Dawn, the fourth novel in her series. Breaking Dawn is in the early pre-production stages. There will likely be quite a bit of tweaking to the novel due to the explicit sex and birth scenes to avoid an R rating.

Sources say that Breaking Dawn will be filmed and released in a new trilogy - “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I”, “Part II” and “Part III”. This has not been confirmed officially by Summit, however author Stephenie Meyer has stated “it would have to be made into multiple movies because it’s hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes”.

David Slade is directing Eclipse, but it is unknown if he will also direct any of the Breaking Dawn films. “Breaking Dawn: Part I” should start shooting in early 2010, with a release scheduled for 2011.

Um. As weird as Breaking Dawn was with the whole vampire child clawing herself out of Bella, THAT'S WHAT MADE BREAKING DAWN. The blood, the gore, the sex, the transformation and of course the little beast Renesmee clawing her way out of her teenage mother's belly. Why the fuck would they change it? Fuck it. Be rated R. It's fucking gross. And that's why I enjoyed it. I needed that ridiculous gore after I spent so many chapters dealing with sobbing emo Jacob. As gorgeous as Taylor is... I can't deal with his sad shit for that long. GIVE ME GORE, GIVE ME ANGRY WEREWOLVES AND GIVE ME THE CREEPY ASS VAMPIRE BIRTH.
